    THE BEST SOFT SERVE EVER!! However I wish they filled up our slushy all the way. The diablo slushy root beer float hit the spot for a root beer lover like me; perfect for a hot summers day. For the soft serve, I love how they keep things simple with the flavor selections, we loved the strawberry flavor (super creamy and also a bit tart) and the vibrant color. So cute! When we came by on a Sunday afternoon we were able to find street parking easily and opted for the walk up line. Probably took a total of 5 min. Super efficient service and well staffed to accommodate the crowds they attract. Also you cannot beat the prices here, super affordable. Can't wait to come back!

    I just knew I had to make the trip here when I heard this was one of the highest rated soft serve ice cream in the state! I believe this is also known to be one of the last few drive-thru ice cream flavors as this is an old school location that had been serving the locals since the mid 1900's. We went on a Friday evening where there was a live band on the park lawn across the street, meaning there was no drive thru but a walk-in line! But don't let the long line for ice cream intimidate you - it does go by very quickly! The person who helped take our order was so nice in recommending the most popular flavors as well as the current seasonal flavors. I was surprised that the cost wasn't high at all! I ordered the medium sized strawberry ice cream cone and my husband ordered the Diablo Slushy (vanilla ice cream on root beer float. After our order was taken, we walked to the front where they served the ice cream and our order came out almost immediately! My ice cream was very sweet! The soft serve texture was very soft and did not melt right away. I do believe the strength in the flavor is in the milk they used! Perfect place to pick up ice cream and go for a stroll around Pleasanton downtown afterwards! Beautiful way to end our Friday date night.

    Meadowlark Dairy was packed on a Saturday evening. It was my first time seeing an ice cream shop with a drive thru! I ordered a small cone with strawberry and vanilla swirl, and I ended up liking strawberry much more than vanilla. The strawberry flavor is tart and refreshing, while the vanilla is simple and creamy. Would love to come back and try their other fruity flavors.
